The MimioView is fully integrated with MimioStudio software and the MimioTeach system, making it easier than ever to capture images and present them in your lessons. You can capture both dimensional objects and flat documents, zoom in on objects with the camera's gooseneck arm, and autofocus with a push of a single button.

MimioTeach Interactive System

Don't have a Smartboard or Promethean board in your classroom? Check out Mimio Teach to use with your students. It mounts to your whiteboard magnetically, so it’s easy to move it to different classrooms or remove it for safekeeping. The Media Center currently has Flip cameras available for checkout by anyone in the School of Education. 20 more are on order as this post is written because these cameras are in high demand! They're easy to use and will transfer data directly from the camera to your computer...no tape needed!

Textbook Collection Available for Check Out

The Media Center has a wide variety of textbooks in most areas. We also have teacher's editions of many volumes. All textbooks are in the process of being coded by grade with stickers so that you can easily tell which grade level they are for. Be sure to let us know if you don't see a book that you need and we'll try to get a copy for you!

New Display for Collecting Rocks Day!

Use the Ellison Die Cutting Machine to Teach!

The Media Center has an Ellison Die Cutting machine with over 100 dies so that you can cut out shapes. There are 3 different alphabets as well as shapes like apples, snowmen, and butterflies. Use them to decorate a bulletin board, create shapes to laminate and use them to teach, create sewing cards, and much more!

Big Books Available for Shared Reading

There's a whole collection of oversized books that you can take to the classroom with you for shared reading time!

We have some "textbooks" that discuss health, music, and social studies as well as literature. We also have lots of favorites like "Sheep on a Ship" and books by Eric Carle like "Pancakes! Pancakes!".

Not to mention the book pictures to the left...Come by and check one out today!

You can return books from any campus library to the Tillman Media Center! Just drop your items off and they will be returned to their rightful location!

Digital Microscopes Available for Checkout

The media center has a set of 10 digital microscopes. You can check them all out to take to a classroom or you could check out one and think about ways to integrate it into a Science lesson plan.
